Custom activities

1. Enter the course.
2. Click Add in the navigation tree.
3. Click on Custom activity.
4. Fill in the following fields:
1. Title: Enter a title.
2. Description: Supply a description for the activity.
3. Deadline: Indicate when the activity is to take place.
4. Mandatory: Specify whether the activity is mandatory.
5. Active: Set the activation status.
6. Learning objectives: Connect the appropriate learning objectives to this activity. Here you can also indicate whether, and how, the learning objectives are to be assessed.
7. Assess and evaluate: Choose the way you want to assess this activity.
1. Track whether the activity has been completed
2. Assess the activity by using an assessment scale
5. Click Save

1. Open the custom activity. Make sure that Assessments are not available is selected. This is to prevent the participants from seeing your comments and assessments while you are assessing.
2. Click the Completed option to change the selection from 'Yes' to 'No' (or vice versa).
3. Click the pencil symbol (the icon for editing) to make a comment for this student.

2. Change the assessment result from the assessment drop-down, or enter a number if using scores.
3. Click on the pencil symbol (the editing icon) to make a comment for this student.

Each change you make is automatically saved.

1. Open the custom activity.
2. Under the Learning objectives header, click on 'Assess' (or, if the activity has already been assessed, 'View assessment').
3. Assess each learning objective on the basis of the learning objective assessment selected for this activity.
4. Click Save.

2. Select the students you want to assess by ticking the checkbox on the right-hand side.
3. Click Assess multiple in the toolbar.
4. A window for assessment of multiple students opens, showing which students are being assessed. Perform the assessment on the basis of the assessment settings for this activity. In the Comment field, you can enter a comment that the participants will see when they receive the assessment results.
5. Click Save.
